December 2020 Update:
Dr. Wong and staff hopes you are doing well this Christmas season and we wish you a Happy New Year to come.
Please be aware of the following updates:
- The office will be closed from December 23rd to December 25th 2020 in observance of Christmas. Voicemails will be checked once daily and we will make every effort to answer questions in an expedient manner. Priority will be based on medical triage. As always, any patient with a life-threatening emergency should call 911 immediately.
- The office will be closed starting at 12 PM on December 31st 2020 and all day on January 1st 2021 in observance of the New Year.
- Our office is aware that the COVID 19 vaccine is currently being distributed to healthcare workers as priority. As soon as the vaccine is available to the wider public our clinic will make every effort to procure the vaccine for our patients if possible. Please be aware that hospitals and long term care facilities will be prioritized and it is entirely possible that the vaccine will not be made available to clinics for at least 6 months or more. Additional logistical barriers exist as the vaccine must be kept at unusually cold temperatures to keep the immunization viable. If we are able to offer the vaccine to our patients within reason, we will do so.
- Options for more in-person visits will become available after Dr. Wong and staff have an opportunity to receive the COVID 19 vaccine. Based on patient preference we will continue to utilize telemedicine services often as it provides added convenience to our patients that are working, unable to travel or live a long distance from the clinic.

Please note the following update effective April 27th, 2020.
In accordance with the gradual opening of the state to usual business and relaxation on restrictions for elective procedures, our clinic will be opening on a restricted basis.
Effective April 27th, we will be allowing the following patients into the clinic for testing:
- New neuromuscular patients or new patients requiring in-person physical exam, to be determined at Dr. Wong’s sole discretion.
- Select Follow Up Patients requiring an in-person physical exam at Dr. Wong’s sole discretion
- EMG and nerve conduction appointments including Single Fiber EMG appointments
- Neuromuscular Ultrasound appointments
- Skin Biopsy appointments
- Trigger Point injections
All patients will have their temperature checked before entering the clinic and will be required to disclose possible COVID symptoms to the front office staff.
Only the patient will be allowed in the clinic and a mask will be provided. Patients and staff must be masked for the duration of their appointment.
Whenever possible, other patient appointments will be completed using telehealth. In the event of technical difficulties or if a patient does not have suitable computer hardware for telehealth visits, a phone consultation will be performed instead.
We continue to encourage patients to practice social distancing, wear a mask in public and wash hands frequently.
